CIRA board election: meet this year’s final candidates

The final list of elections candidates has been posted! These 11 candidates, five on the nomination committee slate and six on the members’ slate, will be included on the election ballot.

Starting on September 27, CIRA members will vote to elect four candidates: three from the nomination committee slate and one from the members’ slate.

To help CIRA members make an informed decision (and raise awareness of the board election process) we’ve listed all the final candidates below with links to their profiles.

Our election relies on member participation. Being an active participant in CIRA’s governance is where, you, our member, will have the most impact towards CIRA’s mission.

CIRA’s board election process has many stages and opportunities for members to get involved. We’ll keep you updated on every stage via email so you can participate in our governance process. In addition to emails from CIRA, candidates may also reach out to you directly for your support.

CIRA is a member-based organization that values the input of its members and their contributions to enabling a trusted internet. Having a .CA and being a CIRA member supports the great work we do for Canada’s internet.

Membership is free and only open to .CA holders. It remains active so long as your domain(s) remain registered—there’s no additional renewal process beyond renewing your .CA domain name!
