Members of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) community will begin casting their votes today for candidates in the CIRA 2017 board of directors election.
Election runs online from September 19-26
Ottawa, ON – September 19, 2017 – Members of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) community will begin casting their votes today for candidates in the Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s (CIRA) 2017 board of directors election. The vote period starts today at 12:30 p.m. ET and ends at 12:30 p.m. ET on September 26, 2017.
CIRA Members play an important role in choosing the leadership that will guide CIRA through the next three years of its mandate.

CIRA Members can learn more about each candidate before casting their votes by reading the candidates’ statements. You can also interact with candidates in CIRA’s campaign forum.
Voting for election candidates
This year, CIRA Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes to elect 4 candidates—3 from the nomination committee slate and 1 from the Members slate.
Voting will take place online at vote.cira.ca.
The election results will be published on https://stg.cira.ca/election-results on or before September 29, 2017.
