Established by two best friends, Candice and Kristen, Ink Drinker’s Booktique was created due to the lack of bookstore and library options in the founders’ corner of southwest Manitoba. Candice continues to run the show and stays in the loop on what is hip and trending so she can connect with loyal book lovers. Sift through their generous online catalogue of new and used books!

TYPE is a Toronto-based independent bookstore with a specially curated inventory and knowledgeable staff to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Feeling adventurous? Take a look at their mystery bag—a specially curated collection of staff-picked books for you, based on your reading fancies. Sounds fun, right? 

Octopusbooks.ca 

Octopus Books, an Ottawa-based bookstore, is an independent, women-owned spot. Their mission is, “To promote conversations and the exchange of ideas through literature.” To fulfill this mandate, they’ve specially curated their collection of books and host literary events that give a voice to marginalized groups within the community.
