THE PROJECT

Richmond Centre for Disability is a disability-led and community based non-profit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to achieve independence and live with dignity. They found that fear is one of the biggest barriers to accessing the internet for people with disabilities and other vulnerable community members who lack a support network.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

The Super Cyber Project developed a variety of workshops, training courses and clubs to empower participants to use the internet to connect and participate in the digital space, helping bridge the digital divide by building confidence and decreasing isolation. About 1000 community members were equipped with the skills to navigate the internet safely and confidently.
