This project is building customized digital literacy content and workshops that showcase digital innovations in Gwich’in, Indigenous and Northern communities. Gwich’in Tribal Council and University of Alberta researchers are collaborating to create open access learning resources and enhance local capacity for citizens to consider opportunities and make decisions regarding broadband deployment in communities connected to the Mackenzie Valley Fibre Link network in the Northwest Territories.
