Create your brand
What will set you apart from other candidates? Define your attributes and strengths, emphasize your unique qualities , and the value you would bring to CIRA and our mission of building a trusted internet. You could even create a campaign slogan!
Connect with members
To help members make an informed decision when electing directors, we will host a virtual candidate meet & greet on September 18, 2025. This event aims to facilitate discussions between candidates and members and provides a channel for you to promote your candidacy. Stay tuned!
Did you know…
CIRA’s election process runs throughout the summer and into the early fall. There are many stages and many opportunities for members and candidates to get involved. At every stage of the election, the CIRA team will reach out to members by email to let them know what’s coming up in the election process, encourage them to get to know election candidates, and to take full advantage of their role as a member by participating in CIRA’s governance process.
Let your followers know
Start with telling your followers that you are a CIRA election candidate and link them to the election site so they can learn more about the CIRA board election and how they can get involved and support your candidacy. Encourage them to vote!
