At a meeting of the CIRA Board of Directors on October 25, 2024, the Board appointed John Demco to serve out the remaining year of the vacant seat left by the resignation of Don Bowman.
John is the founder of the .CA domain, having received the original delegation from IANA in 1987, and until this recent appointment, was a permanent Board advisor.
Upon completion of the one-year term, John will return to his role as a Board advisor.
CIRA and its Board thank John for his willingness to step up and serve in this temporary capacity.
